Let’s blog how much I get done each night!

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

I’ve come up with a list in my head for the March 7th match.  I’ve ordered some models and will blog how much I get done as the deadline approaches.  This little project is a test of willpower and discipline!  By the time I’m done, I’ll be ready to play a game I haven’t played in over 4 months, with a faction I haven’t played for even longer, and with all new models I’ve never seen, against people using new models whose rules I’m not familiar with.  Fun fun fun!

So last night it began.  I opened my box of Legion Raptors (3), cleaned them up (filing mold lines, cutting off flash, rinse in sink, etc.)  The poses aren’t that “action” like, so I tried to bend the legs of one of the ulk (the Nyss term for their reindeer :P) into a leaping-like pose.  A small crack in the metal started to appear.  I stopped.  I’ll try this again on the other two Raptors I’ve ordered when the time comes, and I’ll use the candle-method I’ve heard about.  After almost an hour of that, I then switched to Atlantica Online.

Of course, all this was after watching the lengthy Korean movie, “Untold Scandal.”  For some reason, I was expecting a horror movie and had forgotten about this drama.  It was pretty good, though quite sexual.  However, the end moved from comedy drama to melodrama.
