A blog/site is only good when it’s interesting… and has pictures… and only remains interesting when it is updated regularly. I don’t think I’m accomplishing ANY of the above :P
I’ve been active reading Mk2 rules, thinking Mk2, denoting the differences between Mk1 and Mk2 on my wiki (though I shouldn’t as Mk2 is a reset, thus nothing to compare it to :P), and hopefully getting some games in next week!
I’ll be in Vegas this weekend though :)

Finally finished assembling the Raptors. I might need to fill gaps (between the riders’ torsos and their mount piece), but not until I’m ready to paint them (2011 sometime). I also assembled the Strider UA, but will add the basing pumice tonight. Other than that, I am done assembling. I do not have time to assemble a base unit of striders, so I’ll be using an already-painted unit that I bought.
My “bare metal army” will have some color after all. Couldn’t be avoided since I planned on using two already-painted Seraphs. So tomorrow I’ll be playing games with totally new models and rules, against models that have been released that I have never played against, playing a game I haven’t played in almost half a year. I’ll just stick to my plan – stick my opponent with arrows. Dozens of arrows.
$30 for a day pass, the drive and parking while my face constantly squirms from this cold… I think I will pass this weekend :( I will start assembling my Raptors this weekend though. It’s raining… so no priming yet.
Due to my rampant spending and gaming on COLLECTIBLE, PRE-PAINTED miniatures games, I need to scrounge up some disposable funds. I’ve sold a bunch of PS2 games, and soon I’m going to put up my comics on eBay as well. For right now, I have a 7-day auction for one of my two vinyl Winterspring maps which I won at two separate sealed boosters events. Currently my bank account fuels my desire to sell BOTH maps as opposed to my usual desire to collect everything and hold onto one of the vinyl maps :(

*EDIT 12/10/2008* Map sold with Buy-It-Now. I originally reduced the S&H fees because I scored a shipping tube from my roommate, which translated into savings for the buyers. I call it “marketing/buying incentives”. Tube was just mere centimeters short! However… I figured a way to make it fit w/o harm to the map! I’ll be selling my other map too, AFTER I receive the USPS free Priority Mail’ing tubes in the mail.
So I haven’t updated my site in a long, LONG while. It was fun to create my own code and stuff, but now I need an easier way of updating my blog, which will also hopefully motivate me to update more often. I’ve been out of the hobby for a while, but since I’ve told myself to dedicate some time again, I figure I’d start by telling the world (or whoever reads this) of my intent and let them (or just you) be the judge.
